The Jewish Center, LLC

The Jewish Center, LLC, manages the William and Audrey Walzer Enrichment Center and serves as the administrative entity for the shared campus of Congregation B’nai Israel and the Jewish Federation of Western Connecticut.  Commonly referred to within our community simply as “the LLC,” it is responsible for maintaining and overseeing all aspects of the campus facilities, including buildings, grounds, and shared resources.

The LLC ensures a safe, functional, and welcoming environment that supports both partner organizations in carrying out their spiritual, educational, cultural, and communal missions. Its scope of work includes coordinating building maintenance, installations and refurbishments, maintaining equipment and supplies in compliance with health and safety standards, maintaining the property and grounds including landscaping, snow removal, and managing custodial staff and external contractors.

In addition to serving B’nai Israel and the Federation, the LLC oversees the use and rental of event spaces on campus — including our expansive social hall which can accommodate over  300 people.   It has a fully equipped commercial kitchen, a separate Kosher kitchen, an overhead projector with a massive retractable screen, a full sound system, tables, chairs, dining supplies, and available bounce house, all ideal for birthday parties, B'nai Mitzvah, weddings, milestone celebrations, community gatherings, and more. The campus also features an expansive, highly secure school wing featuring a separate, drive up entrance with multiple classrooms available for meetings, workshops, and educational programs.  Some spaces are equipped with juvenile furniture, pianos, a small kitchen and separate bathroom facilities.  

The LLC welcomes inquiries from both the Jewish community and the broader public, offering flexible space options in a central, well-maintained, highly secure setting suitable for a wide range of events, for daily, weekly, and long-term periods.  Please contact our facilities manager Maria Cruz or the LLC president Patti Berkowitz with questions, to tour the facilities and/or to inquire about space rentals.
