High Holidays Annual Food Drive

Each year during the High Holy Days, B'nai Israel collects food donations for those in the region with food insecurity. Volunteers deliver hundreds of bags of needed non-perishable food items to the Southbury, Woodbury, and Waterbury Food Banks. Our B'nai Israel community donations fill a critical gap during the Fall season, and our friends at these food banks are incredibly appreciative. Please fill and return 1, 2, or more bags with the following suggested (or other) items, and remember, food banks are not allowed to accept items past their expiration date - please do not include expired items. This year, we are also collecting reusable grocery bags. Feel free to include any extra reusable bags with your donations to be distributed to food bank clients. Thank you all in advance for your generosity.
