Reform Judaism is egalitarian and inclusive.  Naming Ceremonies -- for a daughter a Hachnasat Bat L'Brit (הכנסת בת לברית) -- that formally welcome the child into the Jewish People are typically held shortly after the birth of a child. Depending upon circumstances, these events may be held inside or outside of the synagogue.  Another religious option includes a Pidyon HaBen/HaBat (פדיון הבן/הבת) -- Redemption ceremony for firstborn children a month after the child's birth.  Please contact Rabbi Polokoff for details.
