76 years ago the town of Southbury put a halt to the establishment of a Nazi training camp in the Kettletown section. B'nai Israel and the Jewish community have figured prominently in the commemoration, that has included the creation of a new award-winning film "Home of the Brave." The Brad & Seth Mahler Camp Scholarship Fund application period is now open. The Fund provides awards each year to enable youngsters from our congregation to experience Jewish Camping. Scholarships will be awarded based on financial need. Contributions to the fund are being accepted.
